Hostgator is only aged five years going on six but they are already a legendary web hosting provider in their own right. And I say this because they have won numerous awards to their name, and countless praised voiced out by users and professionals alike.
Personally I only started using Hostgator a year or so ago but already I have decided that I am going to stick with them. Their prices are great, and for as low as $4.95 you get a basic hosting plan that's great for a personal site or blog. If you want unlimited space and bandwidth, you only need pay $7.95. Like paying peanuts, isn't it :) I also love their unrivalled support, the staff is friendly and understanding.
In conclusion, if you want to host a site, you cannot go wrong with Hostgator. Check out their site. And oh, I do SO love their slogan - We Eat the Competition up! :D
I bought all my domains from GoDaddy.com and was more than satisfied! They are an excellent provider of affordable domains but I must say that their site is also an intuitive one - easy to navigate around and find important links. Their domains are very affordable, and searching through the domain results, you'll find suggested results as well which is great if you're looking to buy in bulk.
Upon purchasing a domain you can access a host of other thrilling features like free email and hosting but I didn't quite use them to judge how good they are. The support and help I received, however, was more than excellent. The staff is friendly and understanding, and if you submitted a help ticket, you'll usually hear from them within 24 hours or less! It's easy to have them understand what you need, and they'll always comply in order to help you out.
