I would not recommend using GoDaddy. Although its domain management services are still acceptable, its hosting is down right appalling. You may be attracted by its offer of cheap domain registration and "free services" worth over $100. But I will tell you that it's not worth the trouble.
GoDaddy's web hosting does not come with CPanel. They use their proprietary control panel which makes administration a pain. Moreover, there are many restrictions on the hosting server. Many internet marketing scripts cannot function on GoDaddy hosting.
If you intend to purchase a domain name with GoDaddy to take advantage of their free hosting - forget it. Their free hosting comes with ugly ads which you would not want your visitors to see.
While GoDaddy's domain registration is apparently cheap, they do not come with private whois, which will cost a few more dollars.
