If you’re looking for a good affiliate program, Commission Junction is one good stop. It is an established company that is backed up by big names in the online industry. There are many reputable companies funneling their affiliate programs through CJ. As a webmaster, you can be confident that you’ll get paid once you reach the threshold amount.
But then, Commission Junction won’t be sending your earnings through online payment processors. They’re still using paper checks and for certain countries direct bank deposits. While CJ functions worldwide, most members have no other option but to wait for their check to arrive in the mail and bring it to the bank. For some, this could be a little too inconvenient.
And just recently, they raised their threshold payment value. Unless your site has great traffic and a good sales conversion ratio, it might take you months to reach the target. Big and established websites enjoying a great number of unique traffic daily can hit the required numbers without any problem though. On the other hand, registered users who doesn’t fair well in the sales area are at the risk of getting their account deactivated.
But in all other aspects, Commission Junction fares much better compared to their direct competitors. Furthermore, the company’s fully-functional affiliate monitoring system and impressive advertising tools work brilliantly for both advertisers and publishers.
